Implementation

The sessions are taught by the class teacher in class, and they follow the Rigolo Scheme through the 3 units of work for Years 3,4,5 & 6.

To allow for a full session to be covered, 30 minutes every two weeks will be completed. Children can take their French folders home at the end of the year, and begin a new folder each school year.

There is also a bank of short film clips produced during the Covid online broadcasting of French via the schools connections with the children. These can be used to support or add into the lessons being taught that week.

To add into that also, there is a set of staff made seasonal French activities on the schools T: drive which are freely accessible for staff to use if they wish.
