We are proud to partner with Caterlink as our school meal provider. Caterlink delivers high‑quality, nutritious meals across all Great Learners Trust schools. All lunches are freshly prepared each day in one of our hub kitchens - Elmhurst School or Great Missenden School - ensuring consistency, quality, and the very best service for our children.

Caterlink was selected for their strong commitment to healthy, sustainable and child-focused catering. Highlights include:

  • Food for Life Silver Standard menus
  • A strong focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including MSC‑certified sustainable fish, Red Tractor meat, free‑range eggs, and locally supplied fruit and vegetables.
  • A dedication to home‑style cooking, with over 75% of meals prepared from scratch on site, using menus developed in collaboration with pupils, chefs, and nutritionists.
  • Award‑winning allergy management, supported through work with the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, ensuring safe, inclusive options for all children.
  • A commitment to healthier eating, with many desserts sweetened naturally with fruit and significantly below government sugar recommendations.

Meal Options

Each day, children may choose from:

  • A hot meal
  • A jacket potato with toppings
  • A sandwich option

All menus operate on a three‑week cycle, offering a wide variety of balanced, nutritious choices.

Costs and Entitlements

  • Key Stage 1 (Reception, Year 1, Year 2)
    All children are entitled to a free school meal.
  • Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6)
    Meals are charged at £2.90 per day. If you may be eligible for a free school meal please complete the application form here

How to Order

To order school meals, families will need a Scopay account.

Full details on setting up your account and placing orders can be found in the attached ‘Welcome and How to Order’ booklet which also contains Caterlink guidelines on allergens and special diets.

Your child(ren) may be eligible to receive free school meals if you get any of the following:

  • Income Support
  • income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
  • Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
  • Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get)
