Bearbrook Fundraising

Our PTA is proudly run by Mrs Hearn and Mrs Ashby (class teachers and Senior Leaders). We only took on the PTA last academic year when Friends of Bearbrook finished.  We have both worked at the school for over 15 years and are both passionate about supporting our school and its children.

We work together to organise fun, community‑focused events such as school discos , our much‑loved Christmas fete, Easter golden ticket Wonka Bars, ice lolly/ tuck shop and cake sales.  We have also set up our second-hand school uniform shop.

Every event helps bring families together while raising vital funds to enhance learning experiences and school life for all pupils.

Some of the current funds raised have enabled us to gift all our new Reception starters with a Bearbrook book bag, provide the children with hot chocolate and biscuits on World Book Day, support subjects with much needed resources and we are currently supporting every class redesign their book corners.
