The children will cover 6.5 hours of French per year, covering vocabulary and links to very catchy songs. The units begin in Year 3 with basic Conversational French, objects around the classroom and parts of the body. Moving onto Animals, Family members and Celebrations in Year 4. The upper end of KS2 Starts looking at telling the time in year 5 and begins to prepare for year 6 and secondary school by looking at holiday destinations, eating and food and celebrations at the end of the year with a trip to the circus.

Each of the units of work spends time teaching as well as recapping previous sessions work in either a quiz on paper of an interactive game online where the children can show off their skills.
